What a Week [45]: Camp NaNowrimo Winner! Celebrating 28.4K words

Welcome to my weekly recap where I share what happened last week

in my Reading Bookshelf, Writing Desk and Blogging Corner.

The featured section for this week is my…

This is going to be an update even shorter than last week’s!

I had a big project due at work and it was also the last Camp NaNoWriMo week

So I didn’t do much blogging or reading but, I did write A LOT and…

I did win Camp NaNoWriMo!

I wrote 28.4K words!

I added about 15K words to book 1 of my trilogy, 8K to book 2 and 5.4K to book 3

and I got my certificate! 🙂

and this is what is it looks like

What about you my writers friends? What did you write last week?

Unfortunately not much blogging happened last week. 🙁

BUT… I’ll be catching up this week!

Starting with the next Blogger Interview with

Michelle @ Because Reading is Better than Real Life Don’t miss it!

Then participating in the Mini Blog Ahead Challenge hosted by

Anna @ Herding Cats and Burning Soup that runs from May 1 through May 15

and  last, but not least, I’m following Camp NaNoWriMo advice:

“Sit back, relax and enjoy the sunset”

so I’m taking a “writing vacation week”

and I’m going on a road trip around the blogosphere! 🙂

I’m going to visit all my favorite blogs!  whoooohoooo 🙂

So my kids blogger friends… Please help me plan my blogosphere road trip! 🙂
Tell me about your blogging week!
What posts did you write? I want to read then ALL!

Not much progress here either. Slowly ADDing my way through FOUR books.

Though I have to say all four seem FANTASTIC!

So I already know I’m going to enjoy writing these reviews 🙂

Forgot to mention I’m participating in the…

So I’m hoping to get through at least half my pending ARCs

What about you? How was your week? What are you reading now?
What ARCs do you have pending? What are you reviewing next?
Leave a comment! I would love to hear from you!

  1. Hey congrats on winning Camp NaNo- awesome. Must be a great feeling- have a glass (or two) of wine or your favorite beverage to celebrate ha ha. And you’re reading FOUR books? Wow, I can do 2 at most or I’d get them all mixed up… 🙂

Enjoy your blog road trip this week. 🙂

  2. Oh goodness, I didn’t realize you’re like me with the future books in the series, haha. I have a scene written for Book 2 but still don’t even have Book 1 written lol. But GAH! 28.4K is awesome! You’re awesome! Congrats 😀

Of course you’re welcome to stop by my blog on your road trip. You can even ride the ferris wheel (since that’s this week’s cover topic lol) and kick back with some booze and magic on Thursday 😉

  5. That is an INSANE wordcount – huge congratulations:). I’m intrigued that you are writing across a series – presumably you’re a planner, rather than a pantser? I’m delighted you liked Red Rising so much – I think the whole series is great fun and very enjoyable.

  6. Congrats on completing camp NaNoWriMo. That’s great!
I hope you enjoy your trip around the blogosphere! 😉 And that Blog Ahead will go great for you. I’m here to cheer you on, haha. 😉
